Our Cedar Park Vision family is dedicated to providing each patient with the highest quality of vision care and to comfortably resolve vision conditions to the very best of our professional ability. We will maximize patient education, allowing each patient to understand their vision and eye health. We believe spending time educating our patients, maximizes results! Our patients are the heart of our practice, and the reason we are here! We strive to grow and promote continued excellence through doctor and staff continuing education while utilizing state-of-the-art technology and procedures. Our patient’s visual needs and wellness are our top priority and every decision we make is directed towards this goal, all while providing a relaxing and cheerful experience.
Dr. Kimberly Wampler grew up in Dallas and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Texas. She then went on to graduate from the University of Houston College of Optometry with a Doctor of Optometry degree. She is licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and has completed the Optometric Glaucoma Specialist certification. Her concentrations include specialty contact lenses, Ortho-K, dry eye treatment, retinal health and myopia management.
Dr. Wampler spent 7 years as an optometric assistance in Dallas, Texas while working towards the goal of becoming an optometrist. Dr. Wampler is on the Board of Trustees for the Texas Optometric Association and for Elevate Digital Optics digital lab. She is also the Austin leader for Young ODs of America.
She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, Central Texas Optometric Society, American Academy of Orthokeratology & Myopia Control and is an active partner of the Cedar Park Regional Medical Center Healthy Women network. Dr. Wampler was also a nominee & finalist for the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce 2012 Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
Outside the office, Dr. Wampler spends time with her 16 year old son, Cole, 21 year old daughter Alexis. She enjoys traveling, mountain biking, dirt biking, scuba diving (with sharks!), gym fitness and is a total foodie! !
Dr. Katherine Dang was born in Nashua, New Hampshire and grew up in Round Rock, Texas. Dr. Dang graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and continued to further her education with the doctorate of optometry program at The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. She is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and licensed by the Texas Optometry Board as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
She is grateful to have been given opportunities to complete several externships including the Veterans Affair Outpatient Clinic in Viera, Florida, Golden Eye Associates in Carthage, Texas, and several clinics in San Antonio, Texas. She is passionate about patient care and providing the best medical care every patient deserves.
She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and Texas Optometric Association. Dr. Dang currently resides in Leander, Texas with her husband, Chris. Her pastime consists of traveling, venturing Austin’s neverending restaurant pop ups, and hiking any chance she gets!
Dr. Taylor Rains, a Dallas native, received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude. After receiving her bachelor degree, Dr. Rains began her optometric experience as a Certified Paraoptometric Technician in Austin then later at Cedar Park Vision. With encouragement and support from Dr. Wampler and Dr. Wineinger, she then pursued optometry school. Dr. Rains went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry with a Doctor of Optometry degree. She is licensed by the Texas Optometry Board as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and Texas Optometric Association. Alongside comprehensive eye exams, Dr. Rains specializes in myopia management, specialty contact lenses, and ocular disease management.
With over 25 years of experience in the optical field, Aslyne is passionate about helping clients find the perfect eyewear that complements both their style and needs. An expert in selecting frames that best suit each face shape, Aslyne has been with Cedar Park Vision for over 15 years, where her friendly demeanor and sincere desire to make customers look and feel their best have made her a standout team member.
When she’s not helping clients choose their ideal frames, Aslyne enjoys spending time with her family—her husband and their son, Jayden—and their miniature dachshund, Sadie. She loves exploring new places through travel and is always eager to share her positive energy and warm smile to create an enjoyable and fun frame selection experience.

Koby is an optician with over 17 years of optical knowledge. With his laid back attitude and modern sense of fashion, he not only will help you see your best, but show you the fun and stylish side of eyewear. Koby ensures that your glasses not only meet your expectations, but exceed them with his extreme attention to detail. As a native austinite, Koby enjoys everything outdoors-live music, mountain biking, hiking, and traveling to various destinations.
Emily has a passion for helping others and a love for all things nostalgic. Her spirit is as strong as the wrestlers she watches and her energy is as big as the clowns she collects. She loves vintage shopping and watching classic movies like The Princess Diaries. She’s always interested in getting to know every patient that walks in and guarantees you’ll start and end your visit on a happy note!
Risa is our lead technician, is a newer addition to the CPV family. She loves being a member of the healthcare team and is a passionate patient advocate. In her free time she enjoys gardening and studying all things optometry.
Betty is always ready to greet you with a kind smile and a sweet attitude. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she’s happy to assist patients in whichever language they prefer. She is dedicated to answering all your questions and ensuring every patient leaves feeling happy and well cared for. In her free time, she enjoys drawing cats and ants and is a huge fan of Sonic the Hedgehog.
Ava is a dedicated Optometric Technician who plays an integral role in supporting both patients and doctors. With over six years of customer service experience, she is committed to providing exceptional care and ensuring that each patient’s appointment is seamless from start to finish. Her commitment to patient comfort and her desire to continually expand her knowledge in optometry reflect her deep dedication to serving the community with the highest standards of care.
Outside of her professional role, Ava is a passionate food enthusiast who delights in discovering new culinary experiences. An avid traveler, she seeks out new destinations that enrich her life and broaden her perspective.
Leci is an enthusiastic apprentice optician with over 10 years of experience in customer service. Her passion for learning, helping others, and creativity fuels her approach to patient care, ensuring each individual feels valued and supported. Whether it’s finding the perfect eyewear solution or providing a personalized experience, Leci is dedicated to making a positive impact on every patient she serves.
Outside of her work, Leci is an animal lover, caring for her two bearded dragons. She has a deep passion for creativity and art, which influences her approach to both her personal and professional life. Leci also enjoys exploring the city and discovering new food spots, always on the lookout for her next favorite place.
Angelica is originally from California and moved to Texas in 2020 along with her husband, son, dog and cat. She has made a career in Optometry for over 23 years, and loves everything about eyes! She has a collection of glasses! She started as an Optician, and loved helping patients. She has a niche for figuring things out, and decided that Insurance Billing was her calling. In her free time, she loves spending it with her family, and going on trips. She loves to watch over her vegetable garden, and bring new design ideas for her home!
Sierra is an optometric technician at Cedar Park Vision, where she’s passionate about making sure patients feel taken care of and comfortable. She’s always excited to learn more about anatomy and physiology to help improve her work and knowledge in the field. Outside of the office, Sierra loves hanging out with friends, trying new foods, and diving into anything that sparks her curiosity. Known for her kindness and positive attitude, Sierra is all about making a difference in the lives of her patients.
